      The masthead "Vogue" meaning trend is targeted at women in their late twenties who desire fashion, trends, and women who enjoy reading about it. The social class for Vogue is A/B class on the social demographic scale. Vogue is a female orientated magazine which advertises and promotes fashion, perfumes etc. 

GQ TARGET MARKET

T he GQ magazine is celebrity endorsed by an English actor Eddie Redmayne.  GQ is a magazine that is based on men, music, and models etc. However, it is more likely targeted at young males. The target audience is preferably young males between the ages of 16-28. Males between the ages of 16-28 are targeted because the magazine has stereotypical features inside in which a male would like such as accessories like watches, sunglasses, and clothing that makes you stand out by dressing out formal like Eddie on the front cover. It is aimed at fashionable men who are wanting to look professional and are able to further their success but also men who want to discover new fashion trends, to be up to date with fashion by making a bold and powerful appearance just like many celebrities on magazine covers.

His facial expression, stance and eye contact looks like he is concentrating and focusing on something interesting. There is a use of masculine colours - white,grey and black that normally connote a profession, success. I can tell that he is professional by his straight stance and his costume ( a suit and glasses ). Representation of wealth but also pride and determination referring tho the pull quote at the bottom left had corner. Due to the fact that he is well known the target audience will want to purchase a copy of it and read the article on him. This magazine cover is representing white/working class males. This representation has been constructed by his facial expression connoting anger and seriousness.

"GQ - GENTLEMEN'S QUARTERLY" is the masthead of this magazine positioned which is positioned towards the top left of the page.  Within the masthead there is a caption "BRITISH" with is bold and capitalized in sans serif typography. This suggests that there are many editions around the world. This magazine is celebrity endorsed by Dave Grohl who is part of the punk rock group the "Foo Fighters". Underneath the masthead there is a dateline "June.2018" and a price "£3.99" which is fairly expensive. The target audience that this is targeted is at the working class but also music lover as they will see Grohl on the cover and supposedly purchase the magazine to read the article about him.
